What exactly is Pop?
Pop is a social dinner club in Asunción. You answer a few questions about yourself, and we bring you together with five strangers for dinner. Afterward, everyone from all Pop tables meets at one shared after-party venue.
Do I really come on my own?
Yes. You arrive to meet five people you haven’t chosen, and they arrive to meet you. Coming on your own is part of the experience — you don’t need a friend to get started.
Is this a dating event?
Pop is about meeting new people and making room for connection. There’s no dating agenda and no professional networking pitch. Come for a conversation and let the evening be what it is.
Where does Pop happen?
Pop is designed for Asunción, Paraguay. Your restaurant is revealed before the event, followed by the details you need for the rest of your night.
02Your table
How do you choose my table?
Your onboarding answers help us put together a mix of ages, professions, interests, and personalities. Each table has six people, with different backgrounds and stories to share.
Can I choose who I eat with?
No — that’s the heart of Pop. We create the group, and you discover the people. There are no profiles to swipe through and no guest list for you to curate.
What if I’m a little shy?
You don’t have to be the loudest person at the table. Listening, asking one simple question, and being curious are good places to start. Everyone is meeting someone new, too.
Will everyone be the same age or have the same job?
Not necessarily. A mix of ages, professions, and backgrounds is intentional. We’re looking for a balanced table with different perspectives, rather than six versions of the same person.
03The evening
When will I know the plan?
The night unfolds in stages: your night, your restaurant, your table, and the after-party. The exact event details and reveal schedule will accompany your booking information.
What happens after dinner?
People from all Pop tables come together at one shared bar or venue. Your dinner starts with six people; the after-party opens up a much bigger circle.
Do I need to prepare anything?
There’s no pitch, presentation, or perfect introduction to prepare. Read your event details, know where to arrive, and come ready to be curious about someone else’s story.
What about allergies or dietary needs?
Before booking, check the event’s restaurant and dietary guidance. Confirm any allergy or specific requirement with the restaurant before ordering; don’t assume every venue can accommodate every need.
04Joining Pop
How do I join the next table?
Use “Join the next table” to see the current joining information. Reservations and the next date will appear there when announced. If registration is open, you’ll be able to continue from that window.
How much does it cost? Is dinner included?
The price is $18 a month for Pop Club. It covers every weekly dinner — the matching, the group reveal, the restaurant reveal, and the after-party. Dinner itself isn’t included: you pay the restaurant directly for your food and drinks.
What if my plans change?
Check the cancellation and change terms provided with your booking. Use the contact information in your booking confirmation for anything related to an existing reservation.
